but if you are having problems with another member here on DA, telling the admins here at HerenTherePhotos won't really do anything. We control only one very small part of DA, so there is nothing we can do if you want us to report someone.

Reasons to report someone:

1. A person has stolen your art. it happens at least once to every artist, and if the person does not take your art down once you have CALMLY asked them, then it is justifiable to report them to the actual admins of DA.

2. A person has been saying derogatory remarks about you. if there's a person here on DA that repeatedly calls you something that makes you uncomfortable or upset (i.e, fag, lesbo, dyke, retard, and the such), then you have every right to report them. everyone should feel safe on DA, and if some lowlife ass bag is making you feel terrible about yourself, report away.

3. Someone has made a death wish on you. i really don't think people understand the power of words, and having someone make a death wish on you can really affect the way you see yourself. Also, in return, DO NOT MAKE DEATH WISHES ON OTHER PEOPLE. i can't believe i even have to say this, but making a death wish is NOT a good idea. you never know what you have done by saying those 5 words, "i wish you would die."

_{just remember, while the admins here are more than gladly to help you with photo-realated problems and will listen to smaller problems you have or any advice you wish to give about how to make the group better, WE CANNOT HELP YOU IN MATTERS AS THIS. as much as it sucks, you need to simply report them to the actual staff here on DA. remember, we are just one small part of a gigantic site with millions of people we don't hold any power over people's profiles.}

Hey guys, i was looking through some of the folders recently to help my boyfriend get inspiration for a project he's working on, and i noticed that a lot of people are obviously not reading the rules for submitting, so i decided to post the rules for you guys to know.

• You may submit 5 pictures a day

                      A lot of groups don't usually accept this many pictures a day, so please take advantage of this. Do try to limit your submitting though, it takes a long time to accept/decline pictures.

• Do not submit the same deviation

                      Do not submit the same picture twice. If it was declined once, it will be declined again. Also, if you do a photoshoot of a certain thing, do not submit pictures that are very similar to each other. For example, if you take a picture of an apple, do not submit another picture of that same apple only from a different angle. It will be declined.

• Make sure it's the right category!

                      If your picture is submitted to the wrong folder, it will be declined. It doesn't seem like it, but it actually takes a long time to decline/accept pictures, so adding the time of moving pictures is too much trouble for admins.

• The Feature folder is a no-no

                      We do not accept pictures to the feature folder. We may in later contests, but please don't assume your picture is good enough to be in the feature folder. It will be declined no matter how good the picture is.

• NO NUDITY

                      Nudity or overly-sexual pictures will be declined. Sorry, but pornography is not art. DeviantArt has younger users, and this group does not want their first exposure to a nude woman/man to be from this group. If you submit something showing women's nipple/vagina or male penis, it will be declined. Repeat offenders will be removed from the group.
